Don't trust people.
Trust rules.
Every phase of a Vantox deal is enforced by the V.S.E. Protocol. Your money and your files never depend on the goodwill of the person on the other side — or on ours.
The vault holds, code releases
The buyer's payment is locked on the TON blockchain until the deal's conditions are met. No one at Vantox can move those funds, delay them or release them early — the protocol decides, not a person.
Encrypted before it leaves your device
Files are encrypted with AES-256 on the seller's device, before upload. What sits on our servers is ciphertext: not even the Vantox team can open it. Only the authorized recipient can decrypt.
A record nobody can rewrite
Every payment is recorded on the TON blockchain. It can't be erased, edited or back-dated afterward — by either party, or by us. What happened is what the chain says happened.
Checked before delivery
Before a buyer can download anything, the file is checked against the VirusTotal threat database. The result is shown clearly — a clean pass, or a specific warning.
- Every file, every deal. Scanning isn't optional or premium — it runs on every file that passes through the vault, in sales and swaps alike.
- Status always visible. Both sides see exactly where the scan stands. Nothing happens behind the curtain.
- Warnings you can act on. A flagged file doesn't vanish silently — the buyer sees what was flagged and can decline the deal before it completes.
The scan informs. It never blocks.
This is a deliberate design decision: Vantox facilitates the exchange, it doesn't certify the content. No automated scan catches every threat, so we won't pretend ours does. You always see the warning — and the decision (and responsibility) to download is always yours.
Built for the deals that don't go smoothly
Flag a deal, stop the clock
Either side can flag a problem at any point before the deal completes. A flagged deal pauses the automatic release so it can be reviewed manually — the money stays locked in the vault while it's sorted out. Disputes reach us at disputes@vantox.io.
Audited before launch
Before launch, the protocol went through a full internal security review covering payment logic, encryption, race conditions and access controls. Every issue found was fixed and re-verified before shipping.
No deal hangs forever
Escrow only works if it can't be held hostage. If the buyer verifies, release is immediate. If the buyer simply disappears, the timed window completes the deal automatically. And if either side flags a problem before that, everything pauses for review. Every path ends — none of them depends on chasing a stranger.
What we don't claim
We don't claim a file is 100% safe — no automated check can promise that, and we won't. We don't inspect the legitimacy or the quality of what's being exchanged, and we're not an antivirus, an exchange or a marketplace. What Vantox protects is the exchange itself: payment and delivery happen together, fairly, or not at all. Anyone who promises more than that is selling you trust — we'd rather sell you rules.
